Noise figure is a measure of degradation of the signal-to-noise ratio, caused by components in a radio frequency signal chain. Also, the name of my more-ficticious-than-not band. Hope you like the music.
“Happy Orb.” I took this photo at Dartmouth College sometime around 1999. Black and white film with a Canon Eos. It’s a lit-up light post with duct tape. The light post was in front of the now-torn-down Clement Hall. I have no idea who put the duct tape on. I’m guessing one of the Studio Art kids that spent most of their time inside Clement. Thanks so much anonymous Studio Art student! This will be the artwork for all Noise Figures sets for a long time.
